Erika laid on her back for a second to catch her breath. Then she heard Otti call the retreat and she slowly and sorely rolled to the side. Her bow had a few scratches but otherwise was fine. Leif looked out of breath and Otti looked focused. Seeing her toss the bird she realized what was happening. The wolf she had burned wiped a paw over its face once more before looking up. Despite the effort she hadn't burned it badly. Instead of attacking it stared at the bird being tossed. It turned back to her. Erika's brown eyes stared deeply into it's yellow ones. "Fine." Grabbing the plump goose the dark haired girl threw her catch at the wolf. She then proceeded to stand shakily.

Otti stood and brushed off her leggings. She snarled at the wolves and they picked up their prey and scampered off into the tunnels. She sighed and without warning hugged Erika. "I thought you were a goner little Mage." She pulled away.

Leif stood shakily and froze his bite wound. Hopefully no one would notice it. He pulled his legging down I we the festering punctures.

Erika accepted the hug gladly. "I thought I was a goner myself!" She smiled at Otti. Leif was acting suspicious. Keeping a weary eye on him she brushed herself off. Leaning down she grabbed her bow and swung it over her back. She briefly considered cartarizing her scratches but turned it down. ...Mage.... Erika turned to her two friends. She approached Leif timidly. " Thanks for coming back for me." She gave him a small smile while studying him carefully. A dark red substance was staining his leg.

Leif turned as to hide the wound. "Shall we be going." He said a little to anxiously. Leif could feel the blood draining. He couldn't walk to far with a leg with this.

The lady composed herself and gave Leif a nod. He was bleeding, she could smell it. But currently she didn't care. The brunette grasped a stone and hauled herself up out of the hole. It was only seven feet deep.

Erika nodded and turned to follow Otti. She wasn't going to press her concerns until she had bandages in hand. Reaching up she realized she was a little short for the stone Otti had grasped. She stood for a second contemplating her options. "Otti? Little help please?"Grinning sheepishly she looked up.

Otti sighed. "Grab on short stock." She hung a rope down that she had "salvaged" from a travelers pack. The cord was a deep brown and tougher than rawhide. "Hope your strong enough." She smirked.

Leif grimaced as he limped forward. Blood was flowing and he was beginning to feel lightheaded. He came up behind Erika to wait his turn.

"Watch it!" Erika exclaimed mocking Otti's tone. Grabbing hold of the rope she looked back to Leif. "Can you make it?" She asked. She didn't want him to think she thought he was weak. She just knew how hard it is to move with an injured leg. Pushing some hair behind her ear she awaited her answer.

Leif smiled as best he could at the bickering girls. "I'm fine." He said calmly. But his face told a different story. It twisted into a sour grimace.

"Your a terrible liar." She told him quietly before climbing her way up the rope. As she reached the top and pulled herself up. Standing she waited on her friends and smiled at Otti for the help. Silently sending a prayer to Odin for the help of her friends.
